She also emits a telepathic field that causes people to become fixated on her. This, she does not. It tends to magnify people’s feelings about her: if they’re generally positive, they become a massive fan. She puts them away, they’ll swear revenge. They want to sleep with her - well, you get the idea.

As such, she’s a massively popular, though polarizing, public figure. Her stans are completely devoted, while her detractors lambast her as being an awful role model, person, and heroine. Still, the media landscape is tilted in her favor. Controversy gets clicks.

In her private life, Laila coasts along on money from her endorsement deals and little else. She tried college, got bored, dropped out. Tried a normal job, quit before she got fired.

Personality: Bratty, lazy, and selfish. She’s not a superhero because of any real desire to do good, just because hey, she’s got the powers and the looks, what else?
